Llegarás al lugar donde sucederán los hechos, conocerás el hermoso sendero de nuestros bosques de niebla, cascadas y ríos. La idea de esta experiencia es conectarse con la pacha mama (naturaleza), entrar en donde habitan pumas, tigrillos, zarigüeyas, orquídeas y aves especialmente el cacique candela y muchas especies más que habitan en esta reserva natural, a tan solo 40 minutos de la ciudad de Medellín. La hora y punto de partida es a las 9:00 AM en montañita hostel ubicado en la direccion calle 10#43c-13 iremos en vehículo particular hasta la arenales que es el punto de partida de la caminata ecológica, estaremos de regreso, aproximadamente a las 14:00 PM. Nuestra experiencia, comienza en nuestra comunidad, Chemuyil, donde nos prepararemos para nuestra aventura. Estamos ubicados a: - 25 minutos aprox. desde Tulum. - 40 minutos aprox. desde Playa del Carmen. - 2 hrs desde Cancún. Si no cuentas con auto o algún medio de transporte para llegar a mi comunidad, no te preocupes, con mucho gusto te explicaré la mejor forma de llegar a nosotros. En compañía de un guía local y en una bicicleta te llevaremos a conocer la selva y tres cenotes que nos han visto crecer, donde hemos aprendido a nadar y donde guardamos muchos secretos de nuestra vida. El desgaste físico en bicicleta es mínimo ya que pasamos más tiempo nadando que en la bicicleta. Durante toda la actividad pedaleamos aprox. 25 minutos en total. La distancia de cenote a cenote son aprox. entre 5-10 minutos. Esta experiencia dura un aprox. de 5 horas. Nosotros nos adaptamos al ritmo de cada grupo y a sus necesidades. This is where we get to see all of the workings of the Colony. We will explain all that is going on and if we are lucky we will spot the queen! Pictures with your new friends! Navegaremos en un cayuco por los canales más conservados del humedal de Xochimilco. Durante el recorrido, te contaremos sobre la historia del lugar y su importancia para la sostenibilidad de la Ciudad de México. En el camino, conocerás la riqueza biológica del sitio, como aves, serpientes, ranas y plantas. Arribaremos a una chinampa donde podrás ensuciarte las manos experimentando la técnica de cultivo ancestral y descubrirás por qué es considerada patrimonio de la humanidad. El primer paso será mostrarte los ingredientes que puedes encontrar en los hogares oaxaqueños, una de las ventajas de nuestra experiencia es que contamos con un jardín con hierbas y chiles orgánicos. Elaboramos quesillo y queso fresco todos los días. Mi hijo Baldo compartirá su conocimiento acerca del mezcal, una cata en la cual podrás tomar degustar tanto como gustes, además de agua fresca, refrescos y jugos. Botanas? Claro que si, pero lo tienes que hacer al estilo oaxaqueño, lo que significa gusanos, chicatanas y chapulines. ¿Has escuchado algo sobre el metate y como se hacen las tortillas a mano? además de tortillas elaboraremos tetelas, memelas y tlayudas. Haremos diferentes salsas utilizando ingredientes de la temporada todo cocinado sobre comal, leña y brasas al carbón. El mole es un emblema de la cocina oaxaqueña y cocinaremos uno de los 7 moles utilizando el metate. No te puedes ir sin probar el mole negro, chocolate de agua, café de olla, nieves y un rico pastel. Todos participaran en los procesos, cortando, moliendo, elaborando salsas y por supuesto comiendo, recuerda cuando visitas una casa en Oaxaca tienes que venir con el estomago vacío. Enjoy the true outdoors with an easy 3/4 - 1 mile private nature hike hosted by a pack of loose, well trained German Shepherd Dogs. The hike starts at our farm in coastal Maine and wanders through a network of trails winding through a natural wild Maine forest. You will be hiking with a large pack of (5 to 12) loose german shepherd dogs of various ages who will want attention along the way! On the walk there are soft forest trails, sometimes mud puddles and slippery footing. Throughout our adventure you will learn tips on hiking with a pack of German Shepherds the way they communicate and what their body language means. Once we return there will be bathroom facilities, snacks and beverages. We will also talk about how we raise and imprint our young shepherds and prepare them as family companions. Your hosts for the nature walk will be either Jennifer, Katie, or both! We began offering pack walks at our open house for our German Shepherd Breeding program, and because of the enthusiasm and popularity, we decided to host this event through Airbnb. This hike is a carefully selected pack of our own German Shepherds. We do not allow visiting dogs to join on the pack hike. Children under two years old are FREE

Every parrot has a story. You’ll learn all about our rainbow-colored rescues in Kona’s only parrot sanctuary. We’ll start with our mission: to give every displaced parrot a nutritious diet, large space to fly, and a safe place to interact with other parrots (and people). Next, we'll take a walk around the sanctuary, where you can get to know the range of personalities of cockatoos, lovebirds, macaws, and more species. Throughout the tour, you will have many photo opportunities, especially with our well-trained parrots. Other things to note: Wear casual clothes, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, and bring a camera. Parrots in Paradise Sanctuary is also home to two rescue dogs, two Holstein cows and two sulcata tortoise. Our award winning LED Night Kayak excursion is unlike anything you've ever done before! Upon check-in, put on your colorful glow paint, aka “War Paint” and snap some great photos! Your guides will then provide a quick “Kayak 101.” (Make sure to listen up, this is key to a FUN and safe adventure). Ready, set, GLOW! Enjoy the LED glow of your kayak as well as the CITY LIGHTS surrounding the entire lagoon. These skyline views are breathtaking! This is truly a great way to see the city from a different perspective and have an absolute blast while doing so. What else? Our kayaks have CLEAR bottoms, like a glass-bottom boat - you may even spot a Seastar near the mangroves! This guided Urban Adventure is a "must do" when visiting San Juan. Don't miss out, paddle out, and "Experience the GLOW!" Notes: - Our 6pm tour is our "Dusk to Dark" tour. It'll be completely dark by 6:15pm. - Time on the water = 45 minutes.
